By Bill Graziano on 16 August 2002 | Tags: Hot Fixes

Microsoft released another security update for SQL Server 2000. That makes two this month. This one addresses (1) Unchecked Buffer in SQL Server 2000 Database Consistency Checkers (DBCCs) and (2) SQL Injection that occurs in two stored procedures used in replication. It's a cumulative update that needs to be installed on top of service pack 2. Update: This page has been updated with security releases from August 14th, 2002 and August 15th, 2002.
