Hey guys,

My team is responsible for providing internal and external auditors with sql server and system level audit information whenever they request, this can happen once a week, ten times in a month, once a month, it doesn't matter... So, to keep us from stop in the middle of our daily routine I'm working on automating some of these requests and having this information available on our SSRS server.

I have my hands wrapped around the sql stuff, usually the type of request we receive from auditors at the sql level are:
List of users and type of access on server A and database 1
Who got access to what between two dates
List of service accounts
And some other stuff...

What I'm trying to accomplish now are the system level reports, I need a way to get information from the local users and local groups (members of local groups), such as:
List of Local Groups
Members of Local Groups
Shares and who has access to those shares

Has anyone worked on any requests similar to this?
What did you end up using?
WMI SQL, DOS Commands...?
Any suggestions or ideas?
