| Hello, I'd like to change the sql server service accounts on a clustered server. Version : Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - 9.00.3042.00 (X64) Standard Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 5.2 (Build 3790: Service Pack 2) At present the service runs under a domain admin account (was installed by the network admins). They specified \Domain Admins as the group in the "Domain Groups for Clustered Services" during the setup.I found this link: http://kbalertz.com/915846/practices-setting-domain-groups-install-Server-cluster.aspxwhich outlines the steps on how to change the domain group for a clustered service. What is the correct procedure for doing this?Has anyone done this, using method 1? Any other preferred method?I'm not a domain admin. Must the changes be done by a domain admin? Please advise. Thanks |
