| Currently we are using NET Backup to initiate our SQL backups we have a mixture of SQL 2000 and 2005 intances across our environment.On almost all of 2005 instances I am seeing at handful of errors in the SQL logs with error during some of the datbase backups. I notice the 18210 shows up twice for each failed db and 3041 comes up once.18210 and 304118210BackupMedium::ReportIoError: write failure on backup device 'VNBU0-4092-860-1220241635'. Operating system error 995(The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request.)BackupVirtualDeviceFile::RequestDurableMedia: Flush failure on backup device 'VNBU0-4092-860-1220241635'. Operating system error 995(The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request.).I have seen a KB article talking about the VSS. Does anyone know about a hotfix for this and what I need to do to resolved this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.and 3041. |
