I've got the HR application DB on a sql cluster in my lan. I need to replicate it "one way" to 4 peripheral offices (filtering tables by "office id" field, so the single office replica will not have other office's data). No vpn between offices. I want also to "send only" from central site to branch offices, for security reasons: not only offices cannot update central db (they will also have read only users for their local sql servers), but all the connections will be FROM my server - TO other servers, absolutely not vice versa. If possible, i want to encrypt traffic.So... can "replica with push subscription only" be my "start point"?Thanks for any help.Dario Palermo |
