I know you can have multiple network cards on one machine, what I'm pondering is if I did have two and each have their own IP would referencing one set of web servers for DB access to one IP and another set to the other IP be meaningful ? the network is 100/1000... assuming that a pretty heavy load comes from Server set A and not so much traffic through server set B ... and heavy traffic through server set C ... would this be meaningful if Server Sets B and C are on the one card and A comes through the other ... would the server see both connections as valid and would such a configuration improve performance ?

Thanks...
