These jobs are scheduled and work according to the schedule , however SQL Server Mgmt Studio gives the jobs crazy names like C3E2CC6F-C6F2-4E53-9B90-004D91C0FB77 which are of no use at all. So i tried renaming them which works fine however the day after the renamed job is still there but a new one is also created with the crazy name like above Any clues how to stop this happening so that i can rename the job(s) and that is the one that stays there and no new ones are created Thanks All Reggiee
