| I have implemented database roles for the users of my OLAP cubes. Some users can only access 3 cubes(out of 5 cubes). When they get to the step where you're asked which cube to access, they were able to see all cubes, not just those cubes that they have access to. Though when they choose a cube which is restricted, it displays a message "You do not have access to this cube" (or something like that). The users need only to see the cubes they have access to.I tried this in FoodMart 2000 OLAP database and it worked. But I tried it in all my test OLAP databases, none of it worked. I even copied and pasted the Foodmart 2000, with all the settings in the original Foodmart but with a different name but that too didn't work.What could be wrong? What do I need to set so that users can only see those cubes that they have access to?Please help.Thanks!Mayet |
