All -I signed up for web hosting which also includes a database on SQL Server 2005. They do not provide a portal for their customers to access rather they recommend using SQL Server Management Studio (which I have downloaded). My issue is no matter how I attempt to access and can get a connection. Below are the details provided by my provider:Server Name: sql.strategicsolutions.netDatabase Name: myindyPort number: 1433Username and PasswordWhen attempting to log in with SQLSMS, I have tried using the server name, server IP....nothing. I am sure this is not that difficult of an issue, but I am stumped. I am somewhat proficient with SQL itself, but most of my work is related to Oracle servers in my companies environment.I just need to be able to access so I can actually see if data is in tables and have the ability to modify records with queries etc. Thanks! |
