Author  Topic  holdris Starting Member 1 Post Posted - 2011-02-24 : 06:04:16 Hi, I have been running SQLSERVER Express 2005 on a laptop for around two years without any issues. However, I have started to recieve the following message: A network-related or instance-specific error occured while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The Server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. At the moment if I restart the laptop four or five times I can eventually get in, however I am concerned that it may eventually completely lock me out. I'd greatly appreciate any help that anybody can give me with regards to the above. Thanks in advance.
