| Hi All,I have few questions on database mail.1. What is the importance of a profile?2. What is the difference between a public and a private profile? 3. Where does the difference lies while sending emails?Cant i directly create account and start sending emails? does an accnt is tightly coupled with a profile? For example like while creating a proxy, we first create a Credential and then map it a proxy or a login is mapped to a database user, is that the same way the profile and email account is mapped?4.Can we have multiple email accounts part of a profile?Am able to configure the database mail and sending emails but am feeling somewhat difficult in understanding the above ones. Am not sure but may the terminology which is making me confused.Any short descriptions will give me more ease of understanding.Thanks in Advance. |
