We made a clone of our Production SQL Server to another server but there went something wrong with 2 disks. The data on this 2 disks are lost. Now I want to drop a database that is listed on the server but I got the following message:"Database '' cannot be opened due to inaccessible files or insufficient memory or disk space"The Data Files and Transaction Log Files don't exist anymore because they were put on the 2 disks that failed. So for now I have a database that is listed in the sys.databases DMV and has no Data Files and no Transaction Log.Can anybody tell me how I can drop this? The thing that I'm doing right now is copying a backup from the production SQL Server to the Clone server and restore the database. But this database is nearly 100GB big so it takes a while until it is copied. Can anybody help me?Thanks. |
