Hello,I hope someone can help me out, I have looked over the net and not found anything to help me out.I have a fresh install of SQL server 2008 R2 loaded up, I chose the RS install option of install files only, when completed I went through the RS configuration manager and filled in everything, RS is running, but when I click on the Report Manager or Web Service URL's either from within Config manager or pasted into the address bar, it errors out, and at the bottom I get DNS Fail.I can ping and ping -a the machine running RSIts a named instanceIts on Windows 2008 R2 (fully patched)The Report Server and TempDB are present in SSMS, though I cannot connect to RS through SSMS.Also, a question. When configuring the database credential, is it normal (or best practice) to use the RS windows service account?I am new to RS, but willing to learn. Is there anything left that I could check?Thank you in advance for reading.Regards,D.Yes, we have no banana's. |
