All Forums  SQL Server 2005 Forums  Express Edition and Compact Edition (2005)  Cannot uninstall sqlncli.msi

This is an XP laptop, meets all requirements, but I continue to the the following: MSXML6 - MainEngineThread is returning 1603 SQL Native Client - MainEngineThread is returning 1612 SQL Server Database Services- cannot access the message When I try to uninstall the MS SQL Native Client, the uninstall is asking for the Source with the sqlncli.msi. Error Message(The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable) I have already extracted the sqlexprtmp file into a directory and reference that directory when the uninstall requests the CD, but i get the same message: I have tried to repair the msi file, then uninstall, but no luck. How can I remove this SQL Server Native Client???? I am thinking if I can remove the client, then i can reinstall. Anyone have any suggestions???? Frank
