Miyuki writes "I have just installed the sql server 7.0 on my computer which its operating system is Win 98 se.

I have never used sql server before so this is my first time. According to my reference book, I tried to create a database through Enterprise manager. But I couldn't do so, it showed no server over there.

So, I made my Win 98 a server with the OEMComputer name. Then I went back to the Enterprise manager. Ok, now I've can see the "OEMComputer" on there, but when I right click it and tried to create a new database, it said it is not connected to the OEMComputer server.

What should I do? I just want to learn using sql server for my own interest. Must I have connection to a server and internet? Or do I need to have Win 2000/NT etc?"
