I have 3 named instance on my Server , Instance 1 ( Std ) ,Instance 2 (Std) & Instance 3 (Enterprise) .While trying to install the 4th named instance (Std) edition, I get a warning message at System Configuration Check Window- Edition Change Check (Warning)Message•Edition Change Check To Change an existing instance of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 to a different edition of SQL Server 2005, you must run SQL Server 2005 setup from the command prompt and include the SKUUPGRADE=1 parameter.I dont want this installation to be changing any of my other instance. What will happen if I procced and how will it impact my other instance ? |
