| I am havig problems regarding repackaging the MSDEx86 to an MSI-package.I have made an snapshot and all that,cleaned it and compiled it to an MSI. It installs OK but when i try to start it i get a error message telling me; "Your SQL Server installtion is either corrupt or has been tampered with (unknown package id). Please rerun Setup."My question is : are all installations uniqely identfied? If so has the checksum to do with it?I am forced to use MSDEx86 due to company policy. But the intended targetOS is win2000.I am clueless.. |
