Author  Topic  jql Starting Member 30 Posts Posted - 2012-02-23 : 08:08:09 Hi, we have just brought the enterprise edition of sql 2008 R2 and our IT dept our installing the management studio and Bids/Visual Studio on our PCs but they are saying that we do not have the full license to install Bids/Visual studio so we will have to create and deploy our SSRS reports via 2005. is this correct, do you have to have separate licenses for Bids/Visual studio? Can you create and deploy reports via 2005 Bids/Visual studio from SQL 2008 R2 server/databases? Thanks for any help/advice
