| Hi,using SQL Server 2008 R2.when we backup transaction log directly from database so there is an option to truncate transaction log.But when we create database maintenance wizard and drop database backup option and select log file so there is no option to truncate transaction log. where to find this option. backup without this option keep log file large. AS SharePoint config DB log files grow very fast so in order to keep it low have to create transaction log backup schedule. any suggestion how to schedule so that transaction log file keep low in size.what steps should i take to reduce log file size now its around 100 GB. thx. |
