So, I find that even on very large databases, I can write a query for exactly what I want and the cube I setup really is just a way to avoid writing something that may take a little longer... sure, I get there are Scenarios where there are speed advantages, but very rarely is writing a query more than an acceptable time behind the analysis data, and I rarely see a need for it... am I just one of those ppl that has been lucky I haven't been in a scenario where I noticed huge benefits over writing good queries on properly setup tables and reports? When do the huge advantages become noticeable, even on 100gig+ databases I find I use it more BC ppl request I set it up, than there really being a huge benefit most times? Thanks!
