Good morning! Here's a challenging one for you... I'm completely stumped and I'm at the point to just reinstall Reporting Services. The issue:Cannot deploy reports that are "over" a certain size.I work for a client that had installed a service pack on the server about 8 months ago. they called me to do some modifications to reports I've created and alrighty deployed. When I went to deploy the report it said it "timed out"... I thought that was odd because I only added 2 fields to the query. What is odd is that if I create a simple report with 4 fields or less, it deploys fine...if I add the 5 field it fails.I've been going back and forth with the network admin on this issue. We've searched the world over and can't seem to find anything that could help us out. We've done the following:1. increased the size capacitey in the reporting server configurations2. increased the timeout period to the max3. changed the query to a stored procedure so that it wouldn't deploy the entire query definition4. Removed useless datasets from reportDoes anyone have any thing we can try?Everyday life brings me back to reality |
