Hi friends,

i wanted to remove the history of instances lost in sql server management studio.. to do so,

for SQL 2008

I renamed the file(SqlStudio.bin) in the directory

C:\Documents and Settings\<USER>\Application Data\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Tools\Shell\SqlStudio.bin

for SQL 2005

I renamed the file(mru.dat) in the directory

C:\Documents and Settings\<USER>\Application Data\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Shell\mru.dat

after doing this,i could able to clear the history list.. but i would like to clear the history list using registry.. how to do it..
