Author  Topic  tommy Starting Member 1 Post Posted - 2002-11-20 : 04:28:17 O/S Windows NT 4 SQL Server 6.5 I need to restore my database from the a .dat file but I keep getting the following error 'error 603' and 'unable to read/write to network'. The backup file created is 5.5 gb in size, I'am sure this is to big as a schedule backup file is only 54mb. Is there any way I read this file or shrink it?
