NIRAV writes "Hello,
I have installed Enterprise server edition of SQL Server 7.0 on windows NT server and Desktop server edition on 95/98 windows operating system. I want to do replicaiton between this two using WAN over internet/intranet.
While doing replication in LAN I made publisher and distributor on NT server/Enter prise edition server database and push subscriptions to other Desktop editions in LAN. In this way replication works nicely.
In above case when i tried to pull data from subscriber from publisher/NT server I faced a error of MMC at desktop server on windows 95 operating system before copleting pull wizard. In this case it gives error of MMC and closes all the running applications of SQL server.
Now in case of LAN it is possible to create all subscriptions using push wizard from NT server but in WAN we have to create anonymus subscribers on NT server/Enterprise edition and we have to run pull wizard on Desktop edition. And in my case it is not being possible.
So is it possible to do replication using 95/98/NT all in WAN ? If yes how my problem can be solved ?"
