Author  Topic  jon3k Starting Member 49 Posts Posted - 2004-02-23 : 15:33:40 Has anyone ever configured SQL server to communicate via the multiprotocol netlibrary using statically configured ports? I found this document: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q164667 But its for 6.5 and not working 100%. The servers both listen on the configured port now, using multiprotocol, but when connecting they still use at least one dynamically allocated port. Any help appreciated!
