Author  Topic  Mmats Starting Member 47 Posts Posted - 2005-05-17 : 17:32:31 Im trying to use log shipping to backup over the internet to a machine outside of the network. However, in setting up log shipping it asks for the destination server, and this cant be typed in, the dropdown box has to show the server. I have added the servers in enterprise manager on both servers with admin rights, but still cant add it in log shipping options. I havent tried a VPN and really dont want that as my only option. Any resolution to this?
