I recently shut down a SQL Server that was acting as a Publisher to a central Subscriber database via a Push Subscription (both SQL Server 2000). Before taking the publishing server out of service I deleted replication and ran the “Disable Publishing Wizard” successfully. All signs of replication were deleted from the Publisher. Unfortunately, the Subscriber still shows that server in the Subscriptions folder in Enterprise Manager. The Last Action states “The process was successfully stopped” but I can’t delete the reference to the former server. Does anyone know how to get rid of it from the Subscriber? The Publisher no longer exists because the drive has been re-imaged for another use already. Thanks in advance for any insight. |
