Hi everyone,
I am pretty new to SQL script even if i had a drastic learning curve. I can't seem to find out how to identify a script or portion of a script that create a lock.

I can identify what lock it is and what step of my DTS package. but i don't know why it does that.

So i wish to know is there a diagnostic proceedure I can follow to identify the portion of my script that create the lock.

i am sure this is something logical but when knowledge is not acquired yet it kinda hard to figure out.

anyway any sugestion oh how to identify the root problem would be appreciated
