Dany writes "Hi folks,

Unfortunately the credentials is not the only thing that needs saving! I've searched high and low for a solution but can't seem to find the right start.

I have created two publications, one snapshot and one merge, which allow anonymous subscribers. Then I created two on-demand pull subs on a separate machine using t-sql scripts, both specifying type "0" login (SQL auth) and providing all the necessary publisher, distributor and subscriber logins and passwords. I tested it in Enterprise Manager and all was well.

The problem crops up when I try to use Win XP's "Syncronize" UI. It kept asking the user for all the login credentials again! Is there any way of ensuring users do not need to do this?

The publisher/distributor runs SQL 2000, and the subscriber is an MSDE instance.

Any assistance would be immensely appreciated.

Many thanks,
Dany."
