| Hi All,i was up with an installtion of sql server 2005(SE), while the components were getting installed i was constantly being poped with the below message:"sql server failed to start", what i did was cross checked weather the accounts have the local admin priviledges they did have.. so i just thought of trying up with my account(which also has all privleges needed) it went on fine with the installtion. later i changed the service accounts to the one which were earlier getting failed its working fine now.any thoughts why is the server behaving so strange?i even installed reporting services along with other components,but I get this error when I try to connect to http://localhost/Reports:"http error:404 page cannot be displayed"but when i use http://localhost/Reportserver it works fineits me monty |
