Jason writes "I am encountering extreme slowness when connecting to a SQL database when using SSL. A connection to an Access database using SSL is fine as is a connection to a SQL database when not using SSL.
I'm using a DSN with SQL security. The SQL database and web server in question are connected via a high-speed back-end network.
I thought at first that the SSL encryption was slowing stuff down, but the DSN connection I'm accessing through ADO is all server side, right?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
