| You also need to migrate the logins after you get done migrating the databases. Otherwise, nobody will be able to access your databases. Search for sp_help_revlogin to do that. It's not a bad idea to detach all your user databases from the old server and leave a security trace on it to trace failed logins. You can capture HostName, ApplicationName, and ClientProcessID to figure out the application and PID if you missed any in the cutover.MeanOldDBAderrickleggett@hotmail.comWhen life gives you a lemon, fire the DBA. |
