| I've upgraded one of our servers from SQL 7.0 desktop edition to SQL 2000 Standard edition. After that was completed we then install SP1 for SQL 2000. Now we are noticing problems using DTS. Today one of the users was trying to setup a DTS package that would bring a text file into one of the database tables. These problems are only manifested when logged directly onto the server. The DTS Wizard for import of data gives an error DTS Import/Export Wizard Error: CoCreateInstance. It then allows the wizard to be brought up but when trying to select the text file source it is missing and so are a lot of other standard drivers supplied by Microsoft. I'm thinking we have a MDAC issue on the server. Does anyone have suggestions or thoughts on this issue?. |
