Jeet writes "Hi,

This is Biswajit. My question is as follows.
While running DBCC Showcontig command I found that for one of my table the Scan Density is very less which should be nearing 100%.

DBCC SHOWCONTIG scanning 'Attachment' table...
Table: 'Attachment' (5575058); index ID: 1, database ID: 7
TABLE level scan performed.
- Pages Scanned................................: 2
- Extents Scanned..............................: 2
- Extent Switches..............................: 1
- Avg. Pages per Extent........................: 1.0
- Scan Density [Best Count:Actual Count].......: 50.00% [1:2]
- Logical Scan Fragmentation ..................: 50.00%
- Extent Scan Fragmentation ...................: 0.00%
- Avg. Bytes Free per Page.....................: 2180.0
- Avg. Page Density (full).....................: 73.07%

I ran the DBCC DBREIndex command and then I checked it once again. But the same i result I got. Can anybody give a tip how to increase the Scan Density?

Note:It is having a primary key."
