Ansley writes "Hi, I'm hoping you guys can help me. I've searched everywhere I can think of (including the SQL Manual) and can find nothing on this error. I installed SQL locally on a test server (running NT) to make sure i knew what I was doing. Everything went well and I could import databases and connect to them with no problem. So ... I installed SQL on a production server (using the same configuration) and now I can't import an Access database to SQL. Here's what happens: I go through the whole DTS Import wizard but when I get to the last step (where you click finish) I get an error message that says "COM DTS - Could Not create an instance of the DTS Package." I have to click OK and when I do SQL closes. I've tried reinstalling, I've tried using different formats to import both to and from and no matter what, I get that message. Any ideas?? Oh and the server is running NT with IIS4 and SQL is version 7."
