2 Questions:
#1: I reinstalled 3 new Compaq Servers with SQL 6.5. On every server when we go into the Query Window instead of the dropdown window having our main table 'MP100V400' it has 'master'. How can I reset the query window so that it defaults to the 'MP100V400' everytime we reopen the SQL Query Window. I can't find this setting anywhere.
#2: We have a 3.1 gig file to copy accross our Token Ring network. I would like to Compress the file with PKZip and uncompress it using PKZip on the receiving server. I decreased the file size from 3.1GB to 800MB so it copied alot faster. However when I attempted to reload the database it would fail about 3/4 of the way through. Are there options in PKZip to help on this? Is compression allowed on SQ DAT files using ARC, ZIP or LZH?"
