| Kym writes "Hi,An application which was previously split across 2 machines, both W2K - SQL2000 database on one, web app on the other, required a common username/password to connect. One machine has been upgraded to W2003 and entered into the Active Directory Domain. The previous connection mechanism won't work. Any ideas why?" |

| When you upgraded to Active Directory, did you retain the domain alias? If not, you will need to drop/recreate the login in SQL Server.MeanOldDBAderrickleggett@hotmail.comWhen life gives you a lemon, fire the DBA. |
