Tamil Selvan writes "Dear Sir,

I am trying to replicate the database from one server to another server. Both of them are Windows 2000 Advanced Server with SQL Server 7.0 installed. The Server "A" is used for both publishing and distribution and the Server "B" is used for the Subscribing. I try to replicate the Database "Test" from the Server "A" to Server "B" but i get some problems.

One more point, the server "A" is in one domain and the server "B" is in workgroup. And both the servers is not an domain server and workgroup server. And it is a part of domain and workgroup server.

The problem i got in the "Replication Monitor" -> "Distribution Agent Error Details" ->

The Last Action information as follows:

"The process could not connect to Subscriber '192.168.0.123'. NOTE: The step was retried the requested number of times (10) without succeeding. The step failed."

The Full Error Message as follows:

"The SQL Server was not found or access denied".

But the Snapshot History Agent says that:

"A snapshot of 15 articles was successfully generated"

I need the solution for my query.

Moreover, i tried replication in a single server "A" and it works fine and good.

I need the solution as early as possible.

Thanks & Regards

Tamil Selvan P.R."
