Hello,

Is there a way to find out when someone dropped a database.

I created a Database and Dropped that database but I could not find that information in my SQL Server Logs. After I deleted the database there is no record of my dropped database in the sysdatabases table.
Is there a table where SQL Server will store this kind of information.

Thanks
maximus

no, I don't believe there is anything that keeps track of this.

you could probably rig something up by monitoring sysdatabases, but wouldn't it be easier just to not give anyone but the DBA the privelege to drop tables?

EDIT:
of course I meant to say drop databases. Sorry if that was confusing.
