I've got temp files growing out of hand chewing up drive C in

C:\Documents and Settings\sqluser\Local Settings\Temp

Can anyone clue me in on why this is happening?

Try deleting them. If you get an error, then they are in use.

I've never heard of anything like that. Do you have sp3a installed and security patch 818? It sounds like you've got a bug or virus. What are the file names?
