Ann writes "I have a web server on one side of a firewall and a SQL Server 7 server on the other side of the firewall. When I try to connect to the SQL server with the web server, I do get through to firewall but the SQL server does not respond. This has been traced with the firewall trace. I am doing TCP/IP connections and I did not change the default SQL Server port. What more configuring is there with the SQL Server. Note: I have upgraded the web server with MDAC 2.5.
Thanks for your help." |
