| Chris writes "I have detached my database and now I can not attach the database. The log file was deleted. I've tried sp_attach_db or sp_attach_single_file_db and I get an error all the time. The error usually says - example "Device activation error" file name 'c:\mssql7\data\sample.mdf' may be incorrect. or says database 'sample' cannot be opened because some of the files could not be activated.
