| About the closest you'll get is running sp_spaceused on the database you're backing up. The backup size will be approximately the difference between the database size and the unallocated space. These numbers won't be accurate though unless you've done a DBCC UPDATEUSAGE on the database, to ensure row and page counts are up to date. Even if they're completely accurate the backup size will still only be approximate.You're better off finding or buying another drive that has plenty of free space so that this isn't an issue. |
