Say, I take a database back up (call it BKP1), then a differential back-up (call it DIFF1) after two hours and an other differential back up (call it DIFF2) after an other two hours.I know that if I restore BKP1 and DIFF2, my data is back to the same state it was at DIFF2But, Can I resore BKP1, then DIFF1, and then DIFF2 to get to the same state (don't ask me why I even want to do this!!!). Is this even possible. My senses tell me it's not possible. But if I am wrong, it won't be the first time TIA..Hemanth GorijalaExchange a Dollar, we still have ONE each._______Exchange an Idea, we both have TWO each. |
