| Steve writes "I am encountering an problem condition with a SQL Server 7.0 database. When I change a column value, another column value is nulled out. The column I alter is a Status Flag and the other column that is nulled is a smalldatetime. Can this behvior be attributed to a stored procedure or some other process that calls some type of macro? Whatever is happening to cause the nulling, I need to correct the process and allow the Status flag to be updated without altering or nulling the smalldatetime field. These fields should not be linked in any way, and I can't seem to find out what would make this happen. Thanks for any help,Steve" |
