Hello everyone,
I need to backup a 140gb database. I have 3 local drives each has 70gb free space. I want to use 30gb in drive1,55gb in drive2,55gb in drive3. I know how to create a dump device, but i want to set a limit in each device, so it doesnt fill up the drive.

Please Help

You can't limit how much each device will use.

You might use our free product, MiniSQLBackup Lite, to perform the backup. The Lite version will not backup to multiple devices, but if your database can be compressed to 25% of its size (on average), it will be able to fit on any of your available drives.

If you absolutely need to backup to multiple devices, MiniSQLBackup costs only USD 99/- per named server.
