Hey all, Say im creating a job to backup my system databases to a backup device for that day and I use the following statement: BACKUP DATABASE Master TO sysBackupMon WITH INIT When I do this, what backup is it performing? basically im trying to work out weather using this is enough or I should be backing up the t-log serperately.edit: put the code in the appropriate brackets. |

| It's performing a full database backup. You cannot do log or differential backups on master. |
