| Vhe writes "We have many scheduled jobs on a clustered SQL 2000 Server (SP3), occasionally and randomly, all jobs failed to send job completion notifications to the SQL operator configured in the SQL Job properties. The job history provides the following information: "The job succeeded...NOTE: Failed to notify '<operator's email>' via email.” We have Exchange Server and MS Outlook Client on the same Server. By stopping and restarting SQL Server Agent, it didn't help at all with the situation. Any idea? Thanks very much for your help,Vhe" |

| Is it that you are saying your SQL server is clustered? If yes SQL Mail wouldn't work in cluster environment. We have round about solutions to implement this in our shop. Let me know if you have any luck getting 'on' this, else I shall let you know methods to go about it.RoyalSher.*********The world is the great gymnasium where we come to make ourselves strong. |
