Hi all,I am running a large scale decentralized environment with about 200 laptops. All these are successfully running MSDE 2000 and replicate to an oracle db via a selfmade replication tool. Most of the laptops now have local MSDE databases with over 1.5 gb size. Do I have any chance to remove the 2 gb limit for MSDE not to get into trouble when the db size get´s bigger over time? cheersmartto |

Shrink and reorganize pages might give you a little bit more space, but there's no way around the 2GB limit.Michael<Yoda>Use the Search page you must. Find the answer you will.</Yoda> |

the 2GB limitation is per database. You could create a new database on each system and archive older data to it.-ec |
