| I have a database that performed a full back up at 2 AM this morning. Since then, transaction log backups have occurred at 7 AM, 10 AM, and 1 PM. The 10 AM backup generated a 3013 error for some unknown reason. The 10 AM TRN file exists, but it is missing from the backup system tables. The LSNs in the backup system tables for the 7 AM and 1 PM tlog backups match (i.e., the last_lsn of the 7 AM backup matches the first_lsn of the 1 PM backup). If I were to recover this database before the next full backup, I assume I would skip the 10 AM TRN file even though it exists. Is this correct? Thanks,Ray |

| If the LSNs link up for 7am and 1pm, then yes you'd skip the 10am tlog.Tara |
